Samuel Eto’o: Neymar Will Become World Best Player

The Ex Cameroonian striker  and current Antalyaspor Coach believes that hard work and the set of skills owned by the Brazilian will make him the finest footballer when Messi & CR7 are done playing.

The Cameroon national team all-time top scorer and former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o believe Neymar will be crowned shortly as the world’s finest footballer.

According to the legendary striker, who also played for Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea, hard work and determination will give Neymar the crown as the best player in the world when Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are done playing.

“Neymar has a lot of potential. After the era of Messi and Cristiano, surely he will be number one. But he has to remember that it depends on him a lot. He must remember that he has the talent and needs to train, train and train, because others do not have his talent,” Eto’o REFERENCE SOURCE.

Eto’o also referred to Neymar’s “go-to guy” status with Brazil’s National Team, where he usually takes the blame for the team’s misfortunes, even when he’s not on the pitch. The Cameroonian player also stated that the Brazilian’s experience is something that should not be overlooked.

“Neymar is only 24-years-old, I am 10 years older than him, but he is a leader in Brazil. I think, with all he has experienced, the pressure, he may be able to give advice to a 35-year-old who plays with him,” Eto’o added.

The former Everton and Sampdoria player is currently performing as a player and coach for Turkish side Antalyaspor, scoring 13 goals in 16 games.
