The first leg match against between Swaziland vs Nigeria ended in a goalless draw for the Super Eagles away at the Russia 2018 Fifa World Cup Qualification.

Swaziland were men enough to withstand the Super Eagles of Nigeria at home, the next fixture will take place November 17 in Nigeria at 5pm Nigerian local time.

Ighalo took the leading strike but yielded no goal today but had a good chance to score at the first halt, but the Swaziland  goalkeeper  made a good save of the ball.

At the 70th minutes into the game Obafemi Martins came in substitute from the bench to replace Mikel Obi. As the Eagles tie today’s match a goalless draw they have to win the next match at home to keep them alive that the FIFA race to 2018 World Cup in Russia.

After this first clashes all the runner up would be re-grouped again to compete before finalizing which Countries would represent the African continent at the FIFA’S World Cup.
